Asiyami Gold

A Brief Overview

Asiyami Gold, Creative Director and Producer

ASiyami’s Story

Asiyami left nursing school at 22 to pursue an undefined artistic venture. Moving from Georgia to New York, she went to stay with a friend and remembers praying for a sign to confirm that she was making the right decision. The day after arriving in New York, she received an email from Gap asking her to be one of their Atlanta photographers for a children’s project. It took her three years to get to a place where she was stable emotionally and financially. ‘Asiyami Gold’ is now a creative agency based on a passion for design, photography and travel.

I question: What am I leaving behind? When I’m gone, what will still be here to serve others that I was a part of? The thought of building something greater than me that will serve for generations to come is what keeps me up at night.

How we’re inspired by gina

Being busy and aspiring working women, we can convince ourselves that we don’t have the time to take breaks. Sometimes we may not even realise we need time off are until we find ourselves burnt out. Despite being a multi-faceted woman following several goals, in Edition 7 of Magnify Magazine, Gina served a welcomed reminder on the importance of making intentional time for rest, and the benefits of this for our physical, mental and spiritual health.
