Take Stock

After a while, we need to take a step back from what we are doing and review if what we are currently doing is working for our business and if we are meeting our customers needs. It will be easy to stay in the ways we are currently operating but we should be looking at the statistics and analytics behind what is bringing consumer interest and demand and then use this information to create plans on how to move forward.

‘Trust your gut and go with it.’

Balance isn’t a straight line

There isn't ‘one path that fits all’ method of balancing the different areas of our life and often each season we go through will change how we balance and what is of most importance to us. It's important when understanding this that we are easy on ourselves and allow mistakes to be made whilst we figure out what works best for us.

Building A Team

When first building our teams, it can be easy to hire the first people who come forward but we do need to ensure that these individuals understand the vision we have and are capable to fulfil the role. It’s unlikely that those we hire will have the same level of passion we have for our business but they should still be invested in the vision and have a desire to see it come to life.

‘It’s beautiful to know we can do so many things but it is also liberating to know that there is so much we don’t have to do.’

Sacrifices need to happen

In our journeys we are going to have to make sacrifices. There will be times when we may have to prioritise our health and the lives of those around us over the work we are doing. We need to all ourselves to take time out and recognise that in the long run we will better off because of this.
